Quite the repetitive schedule we’re on these days! Of course we do get some awake, feisty time too!
I’ve been curious to see if there are any “twin behaviors” with these two sweeties. The first thing I’ve noticed is that they always find a way to get closer if I set them further apart. Alivianna especially likes to squiggle her way to her bro and she expresses her adoration in interesting ways!
The Sprouts are growing so well. I am guessing that Alexander is right around 6 lbs 7 oz and Alivianna is about 5 lbs. 8 oz. They are not overly fussy, which is great. I found out from my parents that I was quite inconsolable when I was an infant. That’s right, I was a purple crier! Lots of colic nights for my poor mama. Alexander is quite helpful and both babies are very tactile.
As you can see, they have finally graduated out of their preemie clothing. The newborn stuff is quite big, but more comfy. The Sprouts got to meet their Great Grandpa Poulsen and they also went for their first car ride in their fancy car seats (thanks to Great Grandpa and Grandma Hawkes). It’s mostly peaceful days at our house and I usually get almost 3 hours of sleep in a row at night.
We had a great visit on Father’s Day weekend with Kirk’s parents, Doug and Toni.
We’re expecting more family in the next few weeks and the Sprouts are probably looking forward to seeing more facial variety. This is the most time off that I’ve ever had at home when I’m not sick and it’s quite strange. I’m getting antsy to start working out again and so I’ll be making arrangements to get back into my routines soon. I really love being a mommy!
I am so lucky and I am exactly where I’m supposed to be with these two lovely twins. Thanks for all the support and love you send our way.
Love the pictures & they are growing. Will be holding them again soon.

I can’t get enough of these pictures!! Seriously, I’m in love.
That family picture of you is so fantastic and the twins are everything babies should be…I’m happy for you! Glad you’re able to spend quality time with them.
