That’s right, the sciatic pain has kicked in early! I’ve been to the chiropractor once a week and it hasn’t helped much yet. I have high hopes though! Other than that, most days I can forget that I’m pregnant. No morning sickness, no weight gain, and no irrational mood swings (yet). Contrary to my husband’s concerns, I also have not started madly decorating the nursery and buying out Babies R Us. I am feeling quite peaceful and serene. Time seems to be slowing down a bit. I am beginning a different, modified assignment at work which will put me in the office working in a secretarial role. It’s been a long time since I’ve played that role. I don’t mind it too much, but I don’t like driving in rush hour twice a day. I am still able to work 10 hour shifts with no problem. I’m going to the gym often and will probably join a new gym soon that has a great pool. I think I’ll appreciate feeling weightless in the water eventually!
We are SO EXCITED for you two!! You’re going to be amazing parents and just can’t wait to see that.
Swimming is The Best during pregnancy; it feels amazing. Sorry about the sciatica though…not fun at all.
And we look forward to seeing your darling nursery.
LOVE you guys!!
