Hey y’all-the Sprouts will be 4 months next week, but I had some pictures and news to share so you get some bonus pictures! Our biggest news is that we found a nanny! Her name is Amelia and she has a bachelor degree in childhood development. She’s a newlywed and we met her husband too. Although she has not been a nanny before, I think we found a good match. My first day back at work is September 29th 🙁 It’s going to be tough for awhile, but we’ll work it out. Although it will be hard to leave the Sprouts, I am looking forward to going back to work. I’m interviewing for a new job soon and so we’ll see what changes come. I’m taking my first physical fitness test next week and I’m hoping to do well. I need to fit in my uniform in October, so I’ve been working really hard to get back in shape! I’m currently 10 pounds away from my pre-pregnancy weight and I am feeling great.

Alexander is doing great. He’s such a happy boy, except when he’s not. He sometimes forgets that he’s a twin and that my universe does not revolve around only him! As you can see from pictures and the video, he is smiling and reacting to voices and faces all the time. He loves tummy time and he is eating 4 ounces of milk every 3 hours. At night, he’s the awesome sleeper. I sometimes wonder, if I didn’t wake him when his sister gets up, could he sleep all night? He loves his swing and going for walks. He is also very happy in a moving car. He has started sucking on his thumb and fist a lot. He’s not a huge fan of sitting in the boppy pillow, but sometimes he will be content. He has started seeking out Alivianna during naps to snuggle with her. One can be wide awake and yelling next to the other’s ear and the other one will be fast asleep. It’s so funny!

Alivianna is amazing! She has such a sweet, mellow disposition. She also has a very adorable smile. She is focusing on people better now and she will smile angelically when you talk sweet to her. She is also eating 4 ounces every 3 hours. She is experimenting with her voice and makes a lot of different noises, whereas Alex has one tone when he’s mad, Livi is a little more subtle. If you hear her crying, you know something is wrong because it’s very unusual. She also loves stroller time and she loves sitting in her boppy pillow. It pretty much puts her to sleep every time! She is in her swing currently and dozing peacefully. Livi likes her binky and she will tolerate tummy time for a short time. She is very tolerant of her feisty brother. Both Sprouts love bath time!

Life is so good! We are so excited to have these two in our family and we really appreciate all of the love and support we receive from family and friends. And I must say, being a mommy ROCKS!
