We went for a huge adventure to Logan for a visit to Great Grandparents Hawkes. I only had to stop three times on the way to check on the babies.
It was fun to hear Great Grandma remembering various things from the times when her children were infants. It’s amazing what crazy things come back to you when you’re holding a baby! The weekend of July 4th, we celebrated Independence Day and the Sprouts due date!! Kirk also had a terrifying experience in the middle of the night with Alivianna :0
We had a fantastic visit with my brother Greg and his family, including the Sprouts’ first doggy visitor!
This was the Sprouts “watching the fireworks” outfits. It was a lovely night.
Can you believe that this innocent girl would do something traumatic to her dad?
We had our first family pictures, thanks to Greg!!
In celebration of Kirk’s birthday, we made a fantastic pot roast dinner and got a cake (that he totally shared)! Toni, Kara, and Kenley arrived on the evening of Kirk’s birthday.
Much to Kirk’s dismay…….our niece Kenley likes the Wizard of Oz too! He got stuck watching it twice in two weeks đŸ™‚
The Sprouts are doing great and they are going to their two month check up next week. Alivianna is definitely the squirmy twin and she may be rolling over before we know it! The Sprouts love bath time for the most part and they are definitely growing. The Sprouts are awake for longer amounts of time now so it’s fun to watch them reacting to light changes and shapes. The sleep deprivation is still hanging around, but I truly love all of these mommy moments that I get every day.
Thank you so much for all the love and support that you send and share!
