I forgot to mention that both babies are being weaned out of the Isolettes so they will hopefully transition into little open cribs soon. The nurses monitor them closely to make sure they can maintain their body temperatures in the open room and also to make sure they don’t need oxygen help. It was a very happy change for our little family!!!
This change also means that the babies get to wear clothes!! It’s so strange to see them in clothing!! Little bitty heartbreakers………
New room with a window!
They are soo gorgeous! Hang in there! They will be safe at home before you know it! Thinking of you all and praying for you often! I truly can’t wait to meet them! Love and hugs!!
They are absolutely gorgeous…..I wish I could be there to support you in person but I promise you are in my prayers and I am supporting you from afar…I know the emotional roller coaster you are on and i also know how hard it is to walk away from that hospital without you children…..I have been through all of this as Kaitlyn was in the NICU from being a month early but it is all worth it in the end…..stay strong cus they will come home and you will be the best parents ever…..I love you and am so proud to call you family and I think you are both amazing….if you want someone to talk to that knows what your going through I am a phone call away ☺
Hi Kathryn,
Thanks so much! I’m trying to catch up with stuff, I really appreciated your message. It came on an especially emotional day for me. The NICU experience will be a distant memory soon! There are so many changes and upcoming adventures with the babies. It sounds like you and your family are so happy in Texas. That makes me happy for you! Love you.
Yay! Such leaps and bounds they are making! You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Thanks for the updates!
So precious. So thankful all is going so well. My heart is thrilled for you. God bless
Thank you Joyce! You’re such a sweet lady.
